You should go to the Uptake’s fundraiser tonight. These guys are fighting the good fight—they’re doing the leg work and they’re using the new technology the way it should be used to connect you to solid information.  And they’re excelling at it. How much do you spend on a yearly magazine subscription?  Or a sweater?  Or on one night of drinks? For that petty ca$h, you can help support not only quality journalism work (you know it’s good when Senators refuse to talk to them), but also prop up a leg of the new media revolution.
