It looks like new freebie [360] is making its way out to a greater distribution area, adding to the piles of free paper in the corners of our neighborhood bars and coffee shops. If you haven’t seen the publication yet, you’re probably going to be okay — the June issue has tips on MySpace dating, a trip to boutiques Karma and Covered, and a brief interview with American Head Charge. But check this out. Instead of having a poorly laid out website, which one might expect, [360] has a single page that links to a .pdf of the publication. Which is a great idea. There’s no poor layout, no page clutter, no unncessary staff blogs, and importantly for the paper, the ads are still there. Yeah, it’s not very search-able, but otherwise it’s a great model for a freebie.  [update: someone let me know it’s both search-able and indexed by Google.  So there you go, even better.]
