"Starting with our Nov. 18 issue, Northwest Publications, which publishes the Pioneer Press, is taking over our business affairs—ad sales, production, and distribution. We’ll spare you the boring details (MinnPost has the official memo if you’re into that sort of thing), but we wanted to let you know that our editorial content will not change. Really, you won’t even notice the difference. We’ll keep running our mouths in the same smart-ass way we always have. We’ll continue to review local music, and run interviews with touring bands, and make lists of our favorite things in town. When something closes in Block E, we’ll still be here to smirk. And when Joe Soucheray comes begging to review the KDWB Jingle Ball, we’ll say no. Because establishing boundaries is important for a healthy relationship."
Lindsey Thomas from the Onion knows better than to get to cozy with Soucheray
