Michele Norris, Washburn High School class of 1979

Corey Mitchell’s Dateline Minneapolis article about a Minneapolis High School Hall of Fame inspired us to look up some of the former Minneapolis students in our Yearbook Collection.

Michele Norris was captain of the cheerleading squad and also on the Spirit Committee at Washburn High School. She is the now the co-host of National Public Radio’s All Things Considered.  She is also the author of The Grace of Silence, the Minneapolis One Read Book.
