Last night I caught a bit of the orgy of Twins nostalgia at the stadium groundbreaking on Fox Sports before the whole spectacle got so nauseating that I had to just turn off the television.  Here’s an article suggestion: how many of those present at the ground breaking, as an estimation, reside in Hennepin County and are likely to fork over stadium funding with a fraction of their purchases?  Sour grapes?  Yep.  I’m certainly still going to watch open air Twins games, but I’d still rather do it in either a publically-owned or privately-funded stadium, not “a gift to the Pohlad family and out-of-town sports fans from residents in Hennepin county “.
